On November 17th, you can bet on finding a cure for cancer by placing a bet at Hollywood Park Casino. The Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program, a division of The T.J. The BET FOR A CURE HOLLYWOOD HOLD'EM TOURNAMENT AND CASINO NIGHT will begin with an opening reception in a private room at Hollywood Park Casino at 7pm including food and drinks then continue with a 150-player regulation-style Texas Hold'Em tournament from 8pm-12 midnight. For a $500 tournament entry fee, participants will have a chance to win a $10,000 CASH PRIZE for first place.

Other prizes include a Club Med trip for two to Cancun and a trip for two to the Dominican Republic.

Non-tournament players can enjoy additional casino card games such as Blackjack and 3-card Poker, various raffles, and music courtesy of The Abe Froman Showmen for a "Casino Night" entry fee of $50.00.

High-profile attendees comprised of talent, top managers, agents, attorneys, and executives from the music, sports and entertainment industries are expected. The Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program is known for incorporating high-profile celebrities into their fund-raising efforts. Past event attendees have included Britney Spears, Matthew Perry, Scott Foley, and Linkin' Park.

There will also be corporate sponsorship opportunities available for logo inclusion, product sampling and private tables for those who are interested.

"I am ecstatic about having a chance to incorporate young Hollywood with the philanthropic causes my family has championed and supported for more than 20 years," said Evan Bogart, committee Chair and son of the late Neil Bogart.
