The state of California decided to make a study about games of chance. The study carried out by the state shows that the gambling industry has had a huge impact on the state’s economy as well as on the population’s pocket.

State lawyer Bill Lockyer reported this is due to the fast expansion experienced by casinos in the last few years. The study also shows that this business means 13 billion dollars to the state of California.

Another thing the study revealed is that Indian Casinos have more benefits than the rest of the casinos because they have about 58.100 game machines, 1.820 table games, including Blackjack, and they also employ 90% of the casino employees in California.
